Career options in media and entertainment industry

Many young people dream to be successful in the media and entertainment industry. We have seen in the past and also at present many young people migrate to Mumbai to work in the film industry. The glamorous film industry attracts young people to different film cities and places where there are more scopes.
The North Eastern region of India has not been able to do much development when it comes to entertainment and this is the reason why young people from this region migrate to other regions and few of them do extremely well in the industry.
We should know that the Indian Media and Entertainment (M&E) industry is a rising sector for the economy and is making significant strides. As per the latest report by the PwC, India’s Media and entertainment Industry is expected to reach Rs 4,30,401 crore (US$ 53.99 billion) by 2026. Advertising revenue in India is projected to reach Rs 394 billion (US$ 5.42 billion) by 2024.
When it comes to jobs and placement in the media and entertainment industry then the options are endless and we are aware of only a few areas.
There are different job roles and positions according to qualification, training and experiences. The best part is even young people who do not have higher qualifications may get engaged in this industry and become successful.
