Bizandoo, why they put me at 3 ?

Maharaj : Bizandoo, why have they given me third position in the entire sub-continent ?
Bizandoo : Eigya! you deserve a great round of applause for this; they are a very credible organization, if they have put you at number 3 they might have done their homework properly; any ways Sir, you are number 1 in your parivar; once again congratulations for being number 1 & 3 both.

Maharaj : I am not yet comfortable with this rankings. On what basis have they done this? Whether they have actually fathomed all my activities since I took over in 2018? Didi and Jaganatha babu have very strong anti –incumbency factors and still they are above me.
Bizandoo : Hujur, normally we don’t question the media. What method they adopt? We don’t need to comprehend everything? We can simply agree what they say or disagree; this is the norm we generally follow. Shall we reject the grading Sir?

Maharaj : No , No ! Bizandoo ! Don’t try to enlighten me about the media, in my earlier avatar I was a media person!
Bizandoo : Me too Sir , I am also aware of many unnecessary things .

Maharaj : Bizandoo, still I want to know why they have given me the third position , that too above many stalwarts – Maharajas, Maharanis, Pandits, Captains and Comrades ?
Bizandoo : Hujur , I can tell you something ; first , you are the only leader who could put in check all bandhs and blockades for almost one year , it is a great achievement. Second , your nonstop prachar for unity among Nagas, Kukis, Meiteis, Pangans and others is noteworthy ; third your ‘go to hills’ and ‘go to villages’ and ‘miyamgi numit’ are impressive for the mainstream media; fourth, your endurance to extend 7th pay till now ; fifth, increasing the comfort level between the hills and valley; sixth, successfully running a government with opposition MLAs etc.

Maharaj : What about Cabinet meetings in the hills? What about ending the crisis in Lamka in the initial days? What about development works inside Kangla ? What about Helicopter services and MST? What about the Sports University? What about agar plantation?
Bizandoo : Eigya they might have forgotten to take into accounts those aspects; but, if you want to top the list next time we have to perform on resource mobilization which is a key area where we lag behind and also deal with our NPAs.

Maharaj : Bizandoo , I understand resource mobilization but I really don’t know our NPAs?
Bizandoo : Eigya, NPA means non-performing- assets, like our local brew, wild cannabis, bamboo, chakhow, local herbs, abundant water resource etc. Water is such an asset that we are still unable to exploit to the maximum; water for power-generation, drinking, fishing and irrigation still wanting ( rather we have wasted it). Moreh town may be developed as a Free Economic Zone with adequate foreign exchange facilities. State Lottery may be revived.

Maharaj : People are not in favor of liquor, leaves & lottery on moral grounds; yes of course we can do a lot on water, bamboo, chakhow, herbs and Moreh .
Bizandoo : Maharaj, it is our duty to convince the people that these are not immoral or amoral ( if legalized ) ; many countries and a half of the USA have legalized ganja for both medicine and recreation; many nationalities are minting money from their local alcohol products (Scotland, Champagne etc); many parts of the world made the people rich lawfully through lotteries, gambling, casinos, kaun banega lac pati ( Katmandu , Las Vegas etc) ; What is wrong if we can make the State and people become more affluent by changing the laws?

Maharaj : Bizandoo , why are you behaving like an alien; come to the ground realities; here for every progressive move , we have to face all kinds of hurdles; for instance when we try to legalize the manufacture and export of our boffo local brew , there is a lot of hue and cry ?
Bizandoo : Eigya , perhaps we had initiated the move in a haste , we need to have dialogue with those who oppose this exciting idea; they must be convinced on every point – on rice, on pilferages, morality, health-issues of neighboring states or countries etc. Let the Committee call each and everyone who is still reluctant. I believe they will certainly agree to this great idea.

Maharaj : The nobleman from Andro made an announcement that they will start exporting the local dandy drink from December, do I need to take some preemptive action ?
Bizandoo : It is high time to act in the interest of the people and the State. Andro people are also our citizens; if they start doing some good work, how can Sekmai, Phayeng, Khurkhul and all others lag behind. An ordinance may give them a live-line till the Select Committee gives its report and finally enact a favorable law in this regard i.e., manufacturing and exporting quality local brew. You hang me (not till dead) if it does not bring an economic boom in our land.

Maharaj : Amidst fumes of Kangla mandop, tranquilized MU, Unending tripartite talks on extra districts, 31 Oct rally and combustible Indo- Naga parley , again you are dragging me to local intoxication in the name of prosperity.
