A drop of hope
Vividraj Achom *
Backed up by will
A drop of hope refuses still
Neither to give in nor dry up
In the blindness of night.
Lies where no due of hope
Poison in his eyes
Darkness by his side
And nothingness in his possession
Walks alone in the light of faith.
This mere drop of hope
Preaching regenerative skills
Through the unconscious ghosts of the night
A pocketful of keys
And a mouthful of advice.
To unlock the mysterious of the mind
Long silenced by the perpetual night
Whether this mere drop of hope
Wins or loses
If left to your stock of will.
(Dedicated to the Achom family)
