A Forbidden Love
Akash Yanglem *
On a starry night beneath the moonlit sky,
Witnessing the twinkling stars shimmering in the horizon,
The streaks of twilight eroded on to her face,
Her eyes as innocent as a dove,
With a soft breeze swirling her hair,
Her smile; enchanting.
My lips at a loss of words,
Her beauty; radiant,
My heart warmed by her presence
as though in eternity.
I encountered her as though a tryst
Her tender love full of innocence!
It's the end of a sweet illusion,
The pain of a forbidden love.
