Appreciated Creation of new Districts in Manipur
27 December 2016
The Kuki Organization for Human Rights Trust wishes to express happiness over the formation of new Districts in Manipur for better administration, especially that of the hill districts Kangpokpi and Tengnoupal.
As the people of Manipur are aware that Sadar Hills had been already one in existence with those five Hill Districts, and also Tengnoupal District had been there prior to the creation of Chandel District.
We thank all Government functionaries involved in restoring Kangpokpi and Tengnoupal to their original status and since the decision is the correct and right decision. The people also praise Almighty God for justice, peace and peaceful co-existence in line with UN International Law of “International Peace and Security.”
Therefore all pray to Almighty God that the profound concepts of peace, justice and peaceful co-existence may influence the hearts and minds of the people of Manipur so that all can live in peace and harmony as has been from time immemorial. Because the original inhabitants of Manipur namely Kukis, Nagas and Meiteis are said to have an accepted tradition that they are brothers, sons of their progenitor named Asu as (L) Mr. T.C. Hodson confirmed.
All brothers and neighbours, their bounded duty is to love their neighbours as they love themselves in fulfillment of God’s commandment to love one another. All organizations hate any kind of movement/s that may possibly disturb social harmony in the state.
Let us praise God and pray for his blessings pouring down peace in the land by continue loving with one another.
