Sadar Hills District Demand Committee team met National President, BJP

A team of Sadar Hills District Demand Committee, Manipur along with Shri Tapir Gao, National general Secretary, BJP, Shri Avinash Koli, General Secretary (Orgn.), BJP Manipur Pradesh, Shri L. Bashanta Sharma, Secretary, Media Affairs, BJP Manipur Pradesh and P. Somojit Singh, National Executive, BJYM met Shri Nitin Gadkari ji, National President, BJP today at his Teen Murti Lane residence at 2:00 pm.

The Manipur Team submitted a detail report to the President for supporting of their demand for creation of Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council.

After the meeting with Manipur Team, Shri Nitin Gadkariji wrote a letter addressed to Dr. Manmohon Singh, Prime Minister of India to intervene in the matter and forward the issue to the Government of Manipur for immediate implementation of Manipur (Hill) Area Autonomous District Council Act, 1971.

Shri Tonghen Kipgen, General Secretary, SHDDC, Shri Gokul Sharma, VP, SHDDC, Thangkham Lupheng, VP, SHDDC and Paokai Haokip, Ex. Member of Parliament also attend the meeting with President BJP in New Delhi.
