With overwhelming positive response and support, we would like to bring you this message to give more clarity to the work of "BLUE & GREEN" campaign.
"BLUE & GREEN" is a self-funded campaign initiated by Institute of Fashion and Design. The campaign does not have any link or funded by any NGOs or
Government initiative. Our campaigns are done with small funds & help extended by good will of individuals who believe in our campaign. Our team
comprise of like-minded volunteers from all walks of life.
Our campaign has the provision to work together with organizations, individuals and even government institutions that can bring mutual support or seek support from "Blue & Green" team, to make a better Manipur.
The campaign is to create awareness on how we can reduce the rate of plastic pollution, starting from each of us. A simple example: When you go out shopping next time carry a bag, and you will realize how many plastic bags you have saved from pollution. We use plastic bags for little convenience of ours and even where it is not necessary.
So it's our responsibility to say no to plastic and find other alternatives ourselves.
So our main objective is to make everyone realize their responsibility and shape a better future. Yes we know we don't have proper recycling or garbage disposable process yet, but somewhere we need to start and that is from each of us. Before we complain lets change ourselves and be more responsible.
If anyone believes in our campaign and wants to make it a success, please join us without "expectations" but willingness to contribute to the cause.
And our team seeks help and support in the form of funds, refreshment and fuel to make the campaign keep moving effectively.
RESPONSIBILITY IS NOT ONLY FOR OTHERS
Let's make our future "GREEN"
"SUGGESTION AND CONSTRUCTIVE FEED BACKS ARE MOST WELCOME"
With warm regards
