BLUE & GREEN Anti-Plastic Pollution campaign

In continuation with the month long Anti-Plastic Pollution campaign, BLUE & GREEN team along with the volunteers from schools and colleges, have been conducting SURVEY at various market places starting from 9th Sept 2010 in and around Imphal area to study the alternatives and practical solution in order to minimise the use of plastic bags as well as creating mass awareness among the women vendors, laymen shopkeepers and customers on plastic pollution.
It may be noted that BLUE & GREEN team has been organising awareness campaign at around 25 schools and colleges of, in and around Imphal city, from 10th Aug 2010.

Following are the dates and places where survey had been conducted:
9th Sept 2010: Ima Market, Paona Bazar, Nagamapal market.

10th Sept 2010: Khurai Lamlong Bazar, Dewlahland, Pandon Bazar

11th Sept 2010: Singjamei Super Market, Singjamei Bazar, Pishum Bazar

12th Sept 2010: Pureiromba Bazar (Palace Gate), Wangkhei Puja Lampak Keithel, New Checkon.

With the aim to reach out other district for collective effort, we had done our survey cum campaign at Churachandpur Dist. on 15th Sept 2010. Coming up campaign at Thoubal and Chandel Dist. on 17th Sept 2010, and Senapati Dist on 20th Sept 2010. This survey program shall halt at different bazaar and locations on the route to the districts, for campaign program. This district survey shall be sponsored by the Assam Rifles & Maratha regiments. So please join hands with BLUE & GREEN for a pollution free and Organic Manipur.
