Importance of moral education : A brief discussion

Himangshu Ranjan Bhuyan *

One of the most frequently raised issues in recent times is that the future generation of our society has grown up without learning or knowing many things. There are many qualities that help a person to build a healthy and strong personality, especially humility, politeness, courtesy, etc., which are lacking among many of today's generation. There is no deifying that our society is gradually moving towards the worst.

Can a person be evaluated as a good person with limited knowledge and education in textbooks or good marks in certificates and marksheets? While educating the rising generation who are our future leaders through textbooks or formal education, we need to provide them with many virtuous educations that can help them to become personalities, good citizens or in simple terms good people.

Nowadays, consumerist and materialistic thinking has surrounded our modem life and has made society chaotic. Our society has been overwhelmed by a certain kind of mechanism for the past few years. The criminal tendency has taken root in such a way that our youth are badly affected by it. Most of the rising generation in particular is moving into a carefree lifestyle, which is likely to severely damage our social bonds.

It has been observed that some of those who are in charge of our future, including the society and culture of the state, have behaved as expected in their behaviour, manners, speech, etc. In fact, a large number of young people are accustomed to a kind of chaotic lifestyle.

There are many news and reels on TV channels, social media etc. about the youths who are engulfed in such chaos which is a cause of great concern for the development Of the society. In short, we have certainly failed to teach the rising generation the good things or teachings that make a person a real person and influence society.

Children are the pioneers of our future society. There can be no doubt that it is the absolute duty of all healthy people to develop every child as a suitable human resource. But the question is - can a child get a real education and develop himself if he is sent to school with a heavy burden of books on his back? Surely you can't.

In fact, the seedbed of a child's education is his own home. It is in the home that children are taught morals, speech and behavior from birth. However, there is a need to discuss how aware we parents are in this regard.

Moral education is actually the education on which people can acquire higher human qualities such as honesty, justice, brotherhood, love, compassion, loyalty, friendliness. Moral education is an important chapter for society. Moral education is not an innate quality of a person. This can be achieved through experience gained from incidents that have occurred in Chaknai at different times.

For example, if a child has good association or lives in a good environment, he will surely learn good speech, but if the child has bad association or lives with people of bad nature, he will surely learn bad ones. Moral education is the good or pleasant speech and behavior that the child will acquire through living in this good environment.

The true value of education lies in values and ethics. A lack of ethics and values can jeopardize our education system. Education helps people to achieve true humanity by achieving excellence in all aspects including physical, mental, moral, spiritual, etc. The value of education depends on being properly educated and being able to make a real contribution to solving the burning problems of society with the knowledge acquired.

The development of human civilization is also based on the disciplined and coordinated efforts of people. Students are said to be the future of the country. Today's students are tomorrow's citizens. The qualities needed to identify as a real person in life and achieve one's goals should be acquired while a student.

In India, from the Vedic period, strict celibacy was strictly enjoined among the student community. The Guru encouraged the disciples to live a moral life by advising them to practice a culture of work. The qualities of self-control, honesty, justice, loyalty, forgiveness, generosity, humility, etc. are not easy to acquire later if they are not acquired during studenthood.

A child's early moral education begins in the family. He receives special moral lessons from his family, especially his' mother. In particular, the mother is responsible for all the potential for germination in the child.

In contrast, the role of teachers in the school floor in shaping the character of children cannot be denied. In fact, students follow teachers the most. Therefore, society needs to take a lot of responsibility towards making children a suitable resource from the time they enter school. In short, teachers provide the opportunity for children to develop physically, mentally, intellectually and spiritually.

Therefore, Rishi Arvind compares teachers to gardeners and says, 'Teachers are the gardeners of the cultural field of the country. Just as the gardener fertilizes the flowering plants in the garden, cleans them and helps them to grow lushly which in time results in the flowering plants becoming adorned with colorful flowers, so teachers should contribute to illuminate the children with knowledge through dedication, concentration and idealistic activities.

Only then will children become true human resources in time and be able to make a huge contribution to the development of the society".

It is well known that it is only through the loving touch of mother's hands that children can grow up and shine with talents responsible for society and nation and become true heroes of the country. In short, the mother is the real teacher, the real craftswoman. The education received from the mother under the supervision of the father greatly influences the child.

Naturally, children are imitative. In some cases, children usually imitate their peers and make demands of their parents or guardians. He should take or do what his peers do and take. This is a normal tendency in children.

Therefore, it is not reasonable to neglect children's demands and only if they pay attention to their demands and try to resolve them will children be happy and satisfied and attracted to their parents or guardians. We must not forget that although we mainly blame the youth for the recent poor growth of the youth and the deteriorating appearance of society, in fact the sense of responsibility that parents or guardians themselves should be concerned about is more important.

In short, a healthy and strong society can be created if every parent and guardian of every family maintains some sacrifices, ideals and restraint and makes their children ideals with appropriate reforms.

Therefore, if we can maintain an emotionally sweet relationship with our children through pure affection. Constructive advice, good speech, behaviour, etc., we can create an honest, pure heir whose love and affection end up in old age At least we will be able to get rid of having to move to old age homes.

As times have changed, people's lives have changed. Many old policies have to be abandoned. At one time, parents and grandparents were taught how to grow up under certain rules and regulations through the provision of some moral education. These include washing your hands and feet in the evening, praying, sitting down to study, and leaving bed early in the morning. You must wash your hands and face and sit down to read.

There are many ways in which you can improve your character, but the most important thing is to improve your character. There are many ways in which you can improve your character, but the most important thing is to improve your character. However, most recently, most children either sit in front of TV cartoons or play computer-internet and mobile games after coming home from school.

They will study with a home teacher (tutor) for two hours in the morning and evening. Meanwhile, there is the busyness of the so-called homework in school. Today, the affectionate presence of grandparents is far away from children. As a result, children cannot be educated with any moral education. These children do not have the minimum politeness of saying 'Ahok, Bohok ' etc or talking to visitors.

One thing cannot be denied that the old days are unthinkable in the modem era.As times have changed, people's lives have changed. There is no limit to the busyness. They have to follow Western customs. However, every parent can certainly find a good path for their children by teaching them some morals. It should be the absolute duty of every parent to strive to acquire the qualities of kindness, compassion, forgiveness, etc.

Children should be taught respect for elders, manners, etiquette, behavior, etc. in the home. There was a time when children grew up in the love of their grandparents. The courtyard stove was a children's school of morality. He was able to learn the strength of the bond of love by grinding coconuts in Khunda and offering them to his grandmother to eat. The fairy tales I listened to by the fire were lessons full of morality.

In fact, fairy tales entertain and entertain children as well as teach them morality and spirituality. These fairy tales are the source of the power of children to judge good and evil, sin and virtue, justice and injustice. Recently, that day is gone. It is no exaggeration to say that children today do not know what fairy tales are. There are many ways in which you can improve your self-confidence, but the most important thing is to improve your self-confidence.

There are many ways in which you can improve your self-confidence Above The golden childhood days, like the expressions of commitment of the people next door, have now become fairy tales. Children are also usually affected by criminal tendencies in some cases.

The main reasons for the development of criminal tendencies in children are the unhealthy social environment at home and around them, the misuse of TV, mobile phones, etc. Therefore, it is the duty of every parent to ensure that their children do not become victims of \any criminal tendencies. In this regard, it should be noted that just as balanced nutrition is essential for healthy physical development, adequate mental nutrition is also essential for healthy mental development. Parents and guardians also have a great responsibility in this regard.

We have built a family with great hopes, hard work and effort and created a new generation. We dedicate all my hard work to that younger generation. We all dream - that this younger generation created by us will illuminate the society with the light of their knowledge.

That is the meaning of everything as parents. But if we are not aware of the duty we have to fulfill as parents or guardians to make that dream come true, then the naturally growing child is more likely to become absorbed in the stream of consumerist, materialistic thinking and forget his roots

It won't take long. In such a context, every parent, guardian today should have one duty - to make every child and young generation at least possess human qualities or values like compassion, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, brotherhood, friendship, behaviour, behavior etc An environment must be created.

Only in this way will children become true human resources and make a huge contribution to the development of the society. We must not forget that world-famous men and women can emerge from an ordinary family.
