In today's 1st division match of the ongoing 3rd edition of the Manipur Hockey League organised by the Manipur Hockey Association (MHA) at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium, Imphal, Hockey Union (HU), Lairikyengbam Leikai dumped KHSC, Khongman by defeating 11-1 .
Meanwhile, MEIRAA stunned goalless SYUC with 12 goals in today's 2nd division league match.
In the first division league match, HU dominated the players of KHSC throughout the match right from the beginning.
KHSC players found it difficult to defend themselves against the various attacks of HU.
Kh Renel scored the first goal of HU in the 2nd minute of the match.
He later scored another six goals against KHSC and earned himself a hat trick.
He scored the six other goals in the 4th, 9th, 17th, 23rd, 42nd and 51st minutes of the match.
L Shitaljoy scored two goals in the 11th and 20th minutes of the match.
M Surdas and Ch Rishikanta also scored one goal each against KHSC in the 36th and 48th minutes of the match.
On the other hand KHSC players managed to score back at least one goal against H in the 37th minute of the match.
The solitary goal of KHSC was scored by L Heramani.
N Jilele of HU was adjusted the title of Man of the Match.
Meanwhile, in the second division league match, MEIRAA, Bashikhong dumped goalless SYUC, Kongba Khunou with 12 goals.
Players of MEIRAA dominated the players of SYUC throughout the match giving them no chance to strike back against them.
On the other hand SYUC players found it impossible to defend themselves against the various attacks of MEIRAA and lost the match.
The first goal of MEIRAA was scored by O Tolen in the 4th minute of the match.
He later scored another goal in the 15th minute of the match.
Th Kiran scored four goals against SYUC in the 12th, 27th, 43rd and 64th minutes of the match.
W Roshan also scored four goals in the 34th, 44th, 63rd and 69th minutes of the match.
S Happy and Th Chingkheinganba scored one goal each in the 41st and 56th minutes.Th Kiran of MEIRAA was adjusted the title of Man of the Match.
