Imphal, December 10 2009:
The Manipur Polo Team, Sponsored by Manipur Sports and Polo Association, comprising of 31 members including players, adm staff,
media persons and 14 ponies was given a warm send off at Military Station Leimakhong by Colonel Vikram Singh Commanding Officer,
557 ASC Bn on behalf of 57 Mtn Division.
Red Shield Stallions (557 ASC Bn) has provided one Army Bus, three trucks and has also made staging arrangements for them enroute to Kolkata where the team will participate in Annual National Polo Matches starting from 17 Dec 2009 .
