Imphal, March 05 2009:: In today's match of the 11th Dr Kanti Mukherjee Memorial Invitation Hockey Tournament 2008-09 organised by the Manipur Hockey Association at Khuman Lampak Hockey Stadium, Imphal, UYAC and COSMO defeated their respective opponents.

The first match today was played between YAC, Yaiskul and UYAC, Uchekon.

UYAC beat YAC 4-2 and won the match.

The first goal of the match was scored in the 24th minute of the match by H Bikram of YAC.

In pursuit of the goal Th Thabal of UYAC scored one goal against YAC in the 26th minute of the match.

N Rajesh of UYAC scored his team's second goal in the 50th minute.

G Binisham of YAC equalised the score position by scoring one goal against UYAC in the 53rd minute of the match.

In the 55th minute M Mirple of UYAC scored one goal against YAC while M Boinao scored one goal in the 58th minute of the match.

The match conlcuded with UYAC winning by two goals.

Kh Dhananjoy of YAC was issued a green card and a yellow card in the 41st and 45th minute respectively by the centre referee for his unsporting behaviour during the match.

In the second match today, COSMO, Wangkhei dumped SAI RC, Takyel 4-0 and won the match.

AK Raju of COSMO scored two goals in the 32nd and 49th minute of the match.

L Herojit and P Jupiter also scored one goal each in the 54th and 69th minute against opponent SAI RC.

On the other hand no players of SAI RC could scored any goal against COSMO in today's match.

Ph Sova of SAI RC was issued a green card by the cenre referee for his misconduct during the match.
