Imphal, October 11 2009: N Kangjamba of Revenue Department defeated IFCD's W Manihar 6-4, 6-2 in the final of the 19th Manipur Civil Services Tennis Championship at Officers' Club Tennis complex today.

Kangjamba also combined with Ng Bhogendra to clinch the doubles' title with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over K Ramkumar and N Dilip.

The team event final played yesterday was won by Secretariat duo of Indrajit and T Panmei.

closing function of the championship was held with Principal Secretary (Finance) AN Jha and president of manipur Tennis Association Dr M lala as the chief guest and president respectively.
