Imphal, August 20 2014: Jyoti Basu Centenary Lecture organised by Communist Party of India (Marxist), Manipur State Committee was today held at Kuki Inn, Imphal.

The centenary lecture was delivered by Dabashis Chakraborty on "Jyoti Basu: His Life and Works" and veteran CPI(M) leader Meitram Shamu Singh, CPI Manipur Secretary Moirangthem Nara Singh, JD(S) Manipur President Manihar Goswami, PDA President L Seth, AIBF Manipur Secretary Khomdram Gyaneswor Singh, BSP Manipur President Ningthoujam Kabita Devi, RSP Manipur Secretary Ningthooujam Ratan, the Core Committee member of the Left and Secular Alliance Sapam Samungou and the CPI(M) Manipur Secretary Sarat Salam attended as presidium members respectively.
