The arguments on whether the CBI need obtaining prosecution sanction before conducting trial against police officers who have been charge-sheeted in the July 23, 2009 BT road firing incident is going on in the court of the Session Judge.
In the court of Session Judge, Ph Surendra, the CBI counsel insisted that there was no need for obtaining prosecution sanction for trial of the officers.
Argument on Inspector Munal's prayer for relief the case through his counsel, also continued today.
