Imphal, June 15 2009: 10 JAK LI of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) constructed and handed over a community all to Bongmol Tampak village in Chandel district.

According to a statement issued by PRO Assam Rifles, the community hall was inaugurated on June 13.10 JAK LI has provided essential administrative and financial support to facilitate the construction of the community hall within a short period.

The inaugural function was organised at a grant scale where villagers from all neighbouring villages attended, the PRO said, adding that the assistance provided by the battalion has been whole-heartedly appreciated by the villagers.
