Troops of 28 Assam Rifles saved an 8 year old girl, who was bitten by a poisonous snake on Sep 1, said the PRO of Assam Rifles in a statement today.
The young girl has been identified as Rehma of Mayai Leikai.
The young girl was bitten on her left hand by a poisonous while she was working at her home, said the PRO and added that immediately the troops administered first aid and evacuated her to RIMS after tying a tourniquet.
