Imphal, March 07 2011: The High Court Bar Association Manipur has convened a general body meeting of the association tomorrow at 9 am to discuss on the ongoing strike of the lawyers demanding setting up of high court for the state of Manipur before step for establishment of Tripura is taken up.

Lawyers are on cease work strike since last weekend alleging that Centre is trying to set up high court for Tripura first keeping behind the long pending demand of the Manipur to set the up for the state.

After sending a memorandum to the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohon Singh, a delegation of the association is planning to go to New Delhi and press their demand.
