Kohima, February 24 2009:
Dimapur police personnel have managed to nab five persons, including an extortionist and two women for involving in extortion and smuggling of contraband ganja during the last 48 hours.
In the latest incident, police arrested an extor-tionist while demanding money from Sweet Centre, New Market at around 2:30 pm yesterday.
The accused identified as Kanito Sumi, s/o Kekhavi of Litami village, is a government employee.
Police seized one air-pistol from his possession.
Earlier on Sunday, Dima-pur police arrested four persons, including two women and seized around 100 kgs of contraband ganja.
