Imphal, August 07 2009: Taking serious note of the vandalism and destruction caused to two offices of Electricity Department at Porompat and Wangkhei on July 4 and July 5 respectively in the course of the people's movement against the Khwairamband Market firing incident of July 23, the Additional Chief Engineer (Power I) has appealed to all concerned not to target offices of Electricity Department.

The Additional Chief Engineer said that the Electricity Department has been serving the people enduring all difficulties and shortcomings.
