To facilitate communication, all the polling stations of the ensuing Lok Sabha election in Manipur would be connected with network of cellphones, telephones and wireless sets.
The State Election Department has taken up steps to connect all the polling stations with cellphones, telephone and wireless in the ensuing two-phased Lok Sabha election to be held in Manipur.
According to an official source, along with providing cellphones, telephones and wireless sets to the Deputy Commissioners, necessary exercise to connect all the 2193 polling stations during the conduct of the Lok Sabha election on April 16 and 22 had already begun.
