The outlawed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) has denied that the four persons arrested by the Manipur police commandos on March 27 were members the party.
Information and Publicity Secretary, KCP, H Poirei stated in a press release today that Ningthoujam Gulapi (41) of Heirok Part-II Maning Leikai, Moirangthem Shantipur (28) of Langathel Mamang Leikai, Laishram Jane (55) of Naoremthong Laishom Leirak and Thiyam Ingocha (31) of Noaremthong Khulem Leikai have no relation whatsoever with the KCP.
He also rejected the allegations that the party takes Rs 35,000 in recruiting a person as a member of the party.
The party recruits only those who came forward to work and sacrifice for the motherland, he clarified.
