Imphal, October 31: Rotary Club of Imphal celebrated its 33rd foundation day by organising a social function at its Rotary MultiService Centre, Mantripukhri with Chairman of Manipur Human Rights Commission Retd Justice WA Shishak as chief guest.

The prizes for the annual painting competition and other in-house presentations were also held at the solemn occasion along with honouring the medical fraternity.

In his address, the chief guest lauded the efforts of the service organisations like Rotary for their devotion in community service and felt that organisations such as Rotary are the need of the hour.

Earlier the club president welcomed all the invitees in his speech and it was followed by a Rotary presentation depicting how Rotary has been functioning in Manipur for the last 33 years and highlighted the Club's regular services projects.
