Imphal, March 06 2009:
Like in other parts of the globe, the International Women's Day will be observed on March 8 by the All Manipur women's Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) at GM Hall, Imphal.
The women body, in a statement today called upon the people of the state to take part in the observation function of the day which would commenced from 11 am and extend solidarity to the effort of the body to become the state a place where there is no look down by men to men, free from all violence and a new society.
