Three hurt in mishap

Imphal, August 08 2009: At least three persons sustained injuries when a Maruti Car (MN02-4982) met with an accident at Lamphel near the office of the Lion Club of Imphal this evening at around 5.30 during the curfew hour.

The vehicle rammed at the median of the road before hitting to an electric post.

The driver of the car Ningthoujam Kumar (55) son of late Chandramani of Thangmeiband DMC gate said they met the accident on the way back home from Churachandpur.

The injured persons were Ningthoujam Memcha (50) wife of driver Kumar, N Sandya (18) daughter of Dhananjoy and younger brother of Sandya N Ojit.
