Imphal, March 07 2009: The Manipur Science and Technology Council, Imphal (MASTEC) will be organizing a 3-day state level training workshop on "Cultivation and Conservation of Medicinal Plants of Manipur" from March 21 to 23 at Imphal under the sponsorship of central Department of Science and Technology.

A press statement of MASTEC said that the main objective of the programme is to impart training to the participants on Scientific Methods of Cultivation and Conservation of Medicinal Plants.

The statement further stated that the target group of the representatives from NGOs/Clubs, Self Help Groups and interested individuals may submit application in prescribed format obtainable from the office of the undersigned on or before March 19.
