Imphal, November 12 2009: Sanoujam Ingo, former Deputy Registrar, Manipur University, of Thngmeiband Sinam Leikai has donated Rs 48,600 for instituting a Gold Medal in memory of his parents.

The Gold Medal will be named 'Sanoujam Sajor Singh and Ibecha Devi Memorial Gold Medal' and it will be awarded to a student who secures First Class First in BA in Political Science (Honours) with effect from 2009, according to a notification issued by Deputy Registrar of MU, Y Robinson.
