MLA Ibohanbi likely the next target of MPP

Imphal, June 30 2010: Manipur People Party (MPP) is likely to cease the primary membership of the party after the party had ceased membership of MLA Dr Bijoy.

A source closed to the party today speculated that MLA Dr Ibohanbi is also likely to suspend from the primary membership of the party for allegedly failing to renew his membership for three year consecutively.

It is also learnt from the source that MLA Dr Ibohanbi has been avoiding party meetings and party activities for the last three years since 2008 till date.

The party is likely to apply the provision of the party's constitution which clearly stated that any members who fail to renew his or her primary membership for three year consecutively will cease to be primary member of the party.
