Imphal, November 12 2009: Protestors, under the aegis of Uripok Tourangbam Leikai Women's Welfare Organisation, have staged a sit-in-protest today at Uripok demanding the immediate release of Advocate Manoharmayum Ibotombi Sharma, who was reportedly abducted on October 25 last.

Protestors have displayed placards reading 'What is the fault of Ibotombi?,' 'release him unharmed,' etc.

The protestors have also demanded the group concerned to clarify on the abduction of Advocate M Ibotombi Sharma.

They also appealed the abductors concerned to release him in the interest of the family members.
