Chairman of the Manipur Pollution Control Board, MLA E Dwijamani today expressed concern over the vanishing of wetland areas, lakes in the state speaking at the concluding day of the observation of Pumlenpat conservation day.
Manipur Pollution Control Board in association with the Pumlenpat Development Organisation observed the conservation day starting from October 31 .
Speaking as chief guest of the concluding function, Dwijamani said for the sake of future generation, today's generation should save the forest and wetland.
Due to excessive deforestation, the problem of global warming coming up, it should be understand by all and act accordingly, he call for.
MANITRON, chairman, Kh Ratankumar, SI, N Nilakomol of Manipur Control Board also attended the function.
