Lamka, February 28 2009: Taking strong exception on the 'deliberate' failure on the part of the BOSEM to provide sufficient text books for Class X, Churachandpur District Students' Union echoed the stand adopted by Siamsinpawlpi General Headquarters and said it will not hesitate to launch agitation.

Text books for Social Science, Science and Mathematics were still short in the district even as the academic session is set to enter the third month tomorrow.

Mathematics was better off among the three but Science and Social Science were still out of sight despite the efforts of the students and their parents to grab the books they were suppose to study.

The union has also made it clear that in the event of the student community resorting to strikes, any untoward incident arising out of it should be borne by the Government.
