Imphal, October 29 2012: Ahead of the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a seminar on Vivekananda's life and philosophy was held today at Asha-Jina complex.

The inaugural session of the seminar was graced by Justice (retd) Maibam Binoykuamr as chief guest, Vivekananda Kendra Manipur president Thongram Haridas as functional president.

The morning session of the seminar was moderated by Padmasree RK Jhaljit during which Prof Soyam Lokendrajit presented a paper on the topic "Swami Vivekananda and spirit of freedom" .

Session Judge (retd) L Birendrakumar also present another paper on the same topic.

RK Jhaljit moderated the afternoon session too during which former Director of JN Dance Academy L Joychandra presented a paper on the topic 'Swami Vivekananda's message to the youth" .
