Imphal, February 24 2009: The relay hunger strike organized by Sharmila Kanba Lup (SKL) at PDA complex of Porompat in support to the eight year old hunger strike taken up by Irom Sharmila against the imposition of the most brutal act of AFSPA, 1958 in the state has completed 99 days today.

Around 50 volunteers of Yaipha Thouram Amasung Nishaban Nupi Marup, Kwakeithel and women of Haobam Marak Lourembam Maning Leikai sit at PDA complex while around 100 volunteers of Umathel Apunba Meira Paibi sit at Umathel Market of Thoubal District.

Secretary of UNACO, W Jyotin and organization secretary of Thoubal District United Women Development Organisation, S Khambi took part as resource persons.
