Imphal, June 30 2010:
BJP, Manipur Pradesh has slammed the UPA Government at the Centre for hiking of fuel prices.
BJP said that the argument of increase of fuel price in International market is bogus as petrol and diesel can be made available at Rs 25 per litre if the Government taxes are withdrawn.
BJP said that India is one of the countries whose taxation on petroleum products is high.
It added that BJP would submit a memorandum of 100 million signatures to the President of India during the monsoon session of Parliament in protest against the price rise in essential commodities.
