Imphal, December 18 2008:
The Zeliangrong Students' Union (ZSU), Barak Valley has appealed to all the shopkeepers of Jiribam not to hike the price of commodities taking advantage of the Christmas shopping spree of the villagers coming from remote areas of the sub-divisional, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
While conveying deployment of its volunteers to assist the naive villagers in their shopping at Jiribam, the student body has also warned that unscrupulous shopkeepers would be dealt sternly.
Shopping for Christmas is now in full swing.
