All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) Tribunal General Kho John has resigned from the post on November 24, reports NNN.
Following the development ANSAM convened a meeting and accepted Kho John's resignation.
Kho John mentioned in his resignation letter addressed to ANSAM president Paulring Langhu that he tendered his resignation owing to some unavoidable personal problems.
Kho John also regretted inconveniences caused to the executives and the 'House' in the ANSAM set-up.
Meanwhile, as a token of gratitude to services rendered by Kho John during his long tenure in the ANSAM, the students body has organised a farewell party in his honour.
Kho John is the longest serving president of ANSAM before he became its Tribunal General.
For eight years Kho John had served as ANSAM president from 1996.He had also retired as ATSUM speaker in its last election on October 24, 2006.
