Imphal, February 23 2009: The Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) in its annual assembly held at Ukhrul district Head Quarters on Monday while minutely discussing the killing of the Kasom Khullen SDO and his two sub-ordinate staffs condemned the brutal inhuman act and has called for a booking and befitting punishment of the culprits, reports NNN.

Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) speaker, Mr Shangam Shipo informed NNN that the house remorsefully condoled the sad demise of Dr.Th.Kishan and his two staff and observed a one minute silent in honour of the departed souls.

Mr Shangam Shipo also informed that the TNL assembly while discussing the nature of incident that had happened condemned strongly the killing of Dr.Th.Kishan, the SDO of Kasom Khullen and his two staff personnel in such inhuman and beastly manner.

The assembly also held that the killer (s) whoever be and those involved should be booked and be punished befittingly according to the severity of the crime and the llaw of the land.

The house also condemned Mr.Pankaj Kumar Pal, IAS, the then DC of Ukhrul for his irresponsibility while discharging his official duties as the district administrator.

The TNL meeting further appreciated all the communities living in the state for maintaining and promoting peaceful co-existence amongst all communities and also appeals all to restore peace and harmony in the state, informed Mr.Shangam Shipo, speaker of the TNL assembly.
