Imphal, December 26 2008: �Please save Sharmila and let every mother live without any fear in their heart that their children may be killed for no rhyme or reason�, pleaded 60-year old Bilashini, who participated in the hunger relay strike being held in support of the cause of Irom Chanu Sharmila at Porompat PDA complex here today. On the 16th day today, members of Khurai Telipati Ahongei Apunba Nupi Lup, Khurai Ahongei Thangjam Leikai Nupi Kanglup and Mayang Imphal Apunba Nupi Lup participated in the hunger relay strike which has been going on since December 10. Bilashini further said that as a mother she cannot sit quiet at home until any of the family members, whether it is her 10- year old grandson or her 40-year old son, return home. Another woman who participated in the hunger relay strike, said that the Government should take note of the agitation being launched by Sharmila through fast for more than 8 years now in pursuance of the demand for removal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act from Manipur.
