Huge quantity of drugs destroyed

Tamenglong, November 11 2011: A huge consignment of unclaimed drugs seized by 11 AR under the aegis of Red Shield Division were destroyed at AR complex in the presence media person this afternoon.

An Official of 11 AR said that 250 kgs yeast seized from a passenger bus (MN06B0215) coming from Jiribam to Imphal, 24 bottles of canned bear (Kingfisher) were also seized from passenger bus(MN011587) coming from Silchar to Imphal were also destroyed today.

Meanwhile, the 11 AR as part of its MCA programme distributed sport materials to Kendriaya Vidyalaya School, Hindi Baptist Church, Immanuel Theological Seminary, Akhui Baptist Church and Town Baptist Church.

Today the AR distributes musical instruments to Immanuel Theological Seminary.
