Imphal, November 03 2009:
Items of Civic Action Programme of the 86 Battalion, CRPF were distributed today to the villagers of Longa Koireng of Senapati district as a part of the Common Minimum Programme of the Central government.
Four tailoring machines and one embroidery machine each were handed over the representatives of the K Senam, Kharam, Koireng and Sehjang with a function graced by SL Sen Gupta, commandant, 86 battalion, CRPF.
Speaking in the gathering, he appealed the villagers not to use the machine for private matter which means for common purposes.
The commandant further said that corporation of the people is must for bringing peace in the region.
If go together with the people, Manipur can become an advance state.
