CBS system introduced in MRB Kwakeithel

Imphal, March 07 2011: The Core Banking Solution (CBS) System which allows a customer of a bank to do transaction in any branch of the bank was formally introduced in Manipur Rural Bank, Kwakeithel today.

Director, Treasury, Thokchom Kirankumar graced the occasion as chief guest.

Chairman, Manipur Rural Bank, Umesh Prasad presided over the function.

Retired Veterinary Director, Dr S Joykumar also attended as guest of honour.

Speaking in the occasion, Th Kirankumar said that the introduction of CBS system in the branches of the bank will help in providing a good and quality banking services to its customers.

MRB is the only bank which provides rural agricultural loans and rural financial services to its rural customers in the state.

It is a great leap for the bank to introduce CBS system in its branches in order to meet the increasing demand of the developing world.
