Imphal, November 27 2009: People in the state are depriving their rights to live and there no rule of justice, lamented Irom Sharmila, the lady fasting demanding repeal of the AFSPA, 1958 from the state in a talk with reporters at court complex where she was produced for further remand to judicial custody.

Sharmila was arrested by the police on charges of attempted suicide was produced in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal at Lamphel.

Court remanded her in the police judicial custody for another 15 days.

Sharmila further said that any of the representatives of people in state had resigned from the post he holds knowing the people sentiment.

After elected as people representatives, their only task is to amass wealth.

There is none to give good advice to them too.

I reply to a question, Sharmila said that she will not go to Kerala to receive the Guangzhou award conferred recently.

She is not interested with the award with cash award as she has no value for money.
