Imphal, October 27 2009: The JACs against the killings of Sanjit and Rabina have once again vowed to continue their stir against the government until positive response from the government comes.

In a joint statement, the JACs reminded the people that some elements including the police commandos are trying to cause communal rift amongst the various communities of the state after a lull on killing people in the wake of the agitation against the Khwairamband incident.

The statement draws the attention of the government to provide the identities of the person from Khurai - who the police claimed to have identified - in connection with the killing of Dr Binodkumar.

In that case, the JAC and the people are ready to launch agitation against the culprit.

It also appealed all organisations of the state - they be from the hills and valley, to lauch various agitations including social boycott to individuals who killed people for the sake of money.

It further appealed all not to show the disunity of the people.

Pledging to continue the stirs until positive response comes from the government, the JAC statement also conveyed its trust to the Senior Citizens for Society to know the sentiments of the people and to stand for the truth in playing mediating role to solve the ongoing impasse.
