IGNTUSW picks flaws in question papers

Imphal, November 11 2011:
Students of Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Regional Centre, Manipur have alleged errors in the question papers of 2nd semester examination held on October 7 .
Drawing the notice of the university authority into the matter, Information Secretary of Indira Gandhi National tribal University Students' Welfare (IGNTUSW), Regional Centre, Manipur Peter Mate observed that the students were expecting a change in the examination system following the assurance from the Vice Chancellor himself on correcting the examination process.
However, errors in the question papers and non-setting of questions for a paper are clear indication of laxity on the part of the officials.
The student body has also appealed to the University officials to prevent from repeating such mistakes in the future examinations of the University.
