Tamenglong, March 05 2012:
In a shocking incident, a boy child from Tamenglong district of Manipur was found on the street of Salem district in Tamil Nadu last Friday.
The kid has been rescued by Don Bosco Fathers working for street children at Salem, Tamil Nadu, a reliable source said.
One Liangamang Robert, who happened to meet the child, tried speaking to him but found out that he could speak only some stuttering words of Rongmei, and something that sounds like Kuki dialects.
Interestingly, the boy could speak Tamil fluently.
When, L.Robert asked about his village in Rongmei, the child could say Duiga.
Although the Don Bosco fathers do not have any problem looking after the boy, they, however, feel that he should be reintegrated with his family or at least to culture he can identify himself with.
The source said that parents or relatives of the missing boy can contact at mobile phone numbers +919443341663 or +919717627898 for details.
In the event of failing to meet the demands within the said deadline, the aggrieved staffs have also warned of taking recourse to cease work strike.
