A 28 YEAR-OLD youth, identified as Md Jamir Ahmed, who is allegedly involved in stealing LPG cylinders and electricity powered Usha sewing machine has been handed over to the headquarter of All Manipur Anti Drug Association (AMADA) .
According to reports received from HQ AMADA, Ahmed stole two LPG cylinders and an electric sewing machine from Ranjana Embroidery located at Sagolband Moirang Leirak on the night of January 24.Again last night around 1 am, he came to the Embroidery with an intention to steal.
However, some trainees who sleep at the Embroidery caught Jamir Ahmed.
Ranjana, proprietor of the Embroidery along with office-bearers of Lainingthou Khaplangba Youth Club today handed over Ahmed to the AMADA HQ.
AMADA has recovered the two LPG cylinders which were already sold to one Rajesh Rao, a non-Manipuri who runs a hotel at Khurai Telipatti, at Rs 2,000 for both.
Ahmed is said to have stolen one bicycle from DM College and one Tulu water pump from under the BT flyover earlier.
Four other persons are also said to be associated with him in the stealing.
AMADA has warned them to come to it soon, or else they should accept any action taken by AMADA against them.
