Nagaland CM to launch NPF in Senapati

Imphal, May 24 2011:
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Nagaland minister for Planning Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu, Lok Sabha MP from Nagaland CM Chang, Nagaland senior cabinet minister TR Zeliang and 20 other Nagaland MLAs and ministers will be in Senapati headquarters on May 28 to "formally" launch the Manipur unit of the Naga People's Party (NPF), a regional political party.
Leaders of NPF informed Newmai News Network tonight that Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu who is the president of the party will formally launch the Manipur unit of the NPF at Senapati headquarters on Saturday in the presence of Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
The NPF has been operating in Manipur since March 31 as a regional political party, according to general secretary (Manipur unit) S Kho John.
He said that any political party, group or individual in Manipur are welcome in the fold of the NPF.
The party general secretary said that enrolment of names in the party is underway and that further information can be had from its temporary office at Deulahland, Imphal.
