Imphal, May 16 2009: KCP-GS Group while giving account on the dead of Aheibam (o) Rameshwori of Iroishemba Maning Leikai on May 1 last that she shoot herself to dead also claimed that the deceased woman and her husband Nanao were overground members of the group.

In a statement of the KCP-GS Group signed by its publicity secretary, Malemnganba today described the incident as an unfortunate incident for the group as the deceased woman, Rameshwori and her husband Nanao alias Jee were the overground workers of the group who always assistant the group.

Her husband Nanao was not directly involved in the incident but the group came to know that a day ahead of the incident of dead of Rameshwori, she insisted her husband not to have link with the group and quit from being over ground workers of the group.

She also threatened to commit suicide if her husband failed to agree to her decision.

In the midst, on the night of May 1 at around 9.30, taking advantage of going to something from the shop nearby with her husband with their youngest daughter of age around one and six months, Rameshwori converted her decision into action.

The weapon she possessed was the weapon lost from one their precious loss cadre Open alias Leingakpa when he died.

The weapon has been missing since his dead and the group is searching for the same.

Now, the weapon is in their hand, the statement claimed citing the reason of delay in making clarification from the group's side with regard to the incident as due to consumption of time in investigating into the incident.

In true sense, they are not drug traffickers and the woman commit suicide herself could be revealed during the investigation and interrogation to her husband Nanao.

He had tell the lie on the day only to escape himself from the hand of the police or other interested groups, the statement when to state.

There would be a gap on the absent of their mother to the two little children, the statement observed expressing share to the shock and grievances received by the children and family of the Rameshwori.

The group also further expressed dissatisfaction of unable to recover the used by Leingakpa on time from the party side which is behind the woman commission of the suicide act.

KCP is seeking forgive to the people for the same, it added.

Rameshwori commit suicide herself can also be revealed from her five year old daughter, the statement reiterated seeking pardon from the people with the unfortunate happening.

On the other hand, the statement also informed that when the group sought help from the people, only the letter head signed by its finance in-charge Khaba Meetei will be used with immediate effect.
