Doctors attending critically injured Naorem Prakash currently treating at JN Hospital, Porompat has advised his family to shift him to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Twenty year old Prakash of Langthabal Kunja sustained severe injury at face and eyes allegedly in the police action of dispersing agitators at Langthabal area on Thursday night.
His right side retina has been detached when hit by bullet and currently treating at JN Hospital.
According to a family member of Prakash serving him at the hospital, doctors attending him as well as neurologist Dr Wahengbam Motilal have advised the family to shift him to AIIMS, New Delhi stating that his condition has become critical.
The family has also decided to carry him to AIIMS, New Delhi.
They also while acknowledging the monetary help extended from various civil and political organizations have sought more help for treating him at AIIMS even though they could not estimated the expenditure to be incurred while treating him outside the state.
