Imphal, March 18 2013: A woman, who reportedly burnt herself after pouring kerosene on her body, has been admitted to RIMS where she is being treated with serious burnt injuries.

The incident took place around 1:30 am last midnight at Thoubal Wangmataba under Thoubal district.

The woman has been identified as Khundrakpam Ongbi Roma Devi (35), w/o Kh Micheal.

According to doctors' report, she suffered almost 100% burns all over her body and she is in a critical condition.

Family members claimed that the victim had some mental problems.

She was found lying unconscious after burning herself near the toilet of their house.

She was immediately rushed to the JNIMS from where she was referred to RIMS.
